Bluegrass Band Sings for Obama
John McCain has John Rich and Trace Adkins in his corner. Now Barack Obama can boast the support of the Bloggrass Boys. The latter group, aided by guest vocalists Suzy Bogguss and Jonell Mosser, commandeered Robert's Western World bar on Nashville's Broadway Tuesday night (Sept. 30) for a combined album release party and Obama fundraiser. After singing a haunting rendition of "Moonlight on the Tigris," Bogguss circulated through the crowd to sell copies of the Bloggrass Boys' CD. The band is made up of bluegrass and folk music veterans Chris Jones, Paul Kramer, Aaron Till, Jon Weisberger, Charlie Chadwick, Josh McMurray, Mike Witcher and Travis Stinson.
