Songwriter Dean Dillon Honored by Hall of Fame
Dean Dillon will be the next subject of the Country Music Hall of Fame's quarterly series, Poets and Prophets: Legendary Country
Songwriters. He will be interviewed and give a performance in the museum's Ford Theater on Nov. 1. Dillon has written or co-written
numerous No. 1 songs for George Strait, including "The Chair," "Nobody
in His Right Mind Would've Left Her," "It Ain't Cool to Be Crazy About You," "Ocean Front Property," "Famous Last Words of
a Fool," "I've Come to Expect It From You," "If I Know Me," "Easy Come, Easy Go," "The Best Day" and "She Let Herself Go."
Other writing credits include "Tennessee Whiskey" (George Jones), "Homecoming
'63" (Keith Whitley), "Set 'Em Up Joe" (Vern
Gosdin), "All the Good Ones Are Gone" (Pam Tillis), "A Lot of Things
