Nominations for the 51st annual Grammy Awards will be announced live on primetime television for the first time in the history
of the Recording Academy. The announcement will be made Dec. 3 during a concert special to air on CBS. The event will take
place at the Nokia Theatre located in L.A. Live, a sports and entertainment district in downtown Los Angeles. The TV special
will also celebrate the grand opening of the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live. The concert performers have not been announced. The
Grammy Awards will take place Feb. 8 in Los Angeles.
