Carrie Underwood is now immortalized as a wax figure at Madame Tussauds
in New York City. The American Idol winner visited Times Square to attend Wednesday's (Oct. 22) unveiling of the figure.
Madame Tussauds introduced a figure of Miley Cyrus during a similar event
in March. The New York museum also features wax figures of numerous celebrities, including Elvis
Presley, Britney Spears and Beyoncé.
On Tuesday (Oct. 21), Underwood released a two-CD edition of her latest album, Carnival Ride. In addition to the original
album, released in October 2007, the updated version includes a second disc containing five holiday songs. The CD is available
exclusively at Wal-Mart.
