Julianne Hough Will Undergo Appendectomy
Julianne Hough is scheduling minor surgery to remove her appendix after being diagnosed with endometriosis, the development
of uterine-lining tissue outside the uterus on the surfaces of organs in the pelvis or abdomen where it is not supposed to
grow. The medical condition is found in 5-10 percent of women of reproductive age throughout the world. Hough began experiencing
stomach pains last week while working on Dancing With the Stars and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los
Angeles, where she was treated and released. She will appear Monday night's (Oct. 27) on Dancing With the Stars and
is expected to talk about the upcoming surgery during the telecast.
