George Strait and LeAnn Rimes are encouraging Texans
to donate money for a restoration of the Governor's Mansion in a series of TV public service announcements that will run statewide.
The home burned in June. Strait filmed his segment on horseback at his property near San Antonio. Rimes shot hers at the Embassy
Suites in Frisco, Texas. Baseball Hall of Fame member Nolan Ryan, who is president of the Texas Rangers baseball team, also
appears in one of the advertisements with the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, as his backdrop.
