Faith Hill and Rascal Flatts were on hand to celebrate
the lighting of the tree at Rockefeller Center on Wednesday night (Dec. 3) in New York City. The celebration was hosted by
Al Roker. Additional performers included Tony Bennett, Beyoncé, Neil Boyd, Harry Connick Jr., Solange Knowles and Rosie
O'Donnell. The lighting was broadcast on NBC. The tree was decorated with 30,000 energy-efficient LED lights on five miles
of wire with a crystal star on top. A family in New Jersey donated the 72-foot Norway spruce.
