Paisley and Randy Travis offered musical tributes Sunday night (Dec. 7) in Washington,
D.C., when George Jones became one of the recipients of the Kennedy Center Honors. Singer-actress
Barbra Streisand, actor Morgan Freeman, choreographer Twyla Tharp and Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey of the Who were also
honored for their lifetime achievements in the performing arts. The 31st annual celebration included a black-tie party that
took place Saturday night (Dec. 6) at the State Department. The Kennedy Center Honors will air on CBS on Dec. 30.
