Mindy McCready remained hospitalized in Nashville on Thursday (Dec. 18) following an apparent suicide attempt the day before. According to police reports, she severed her wrists and took unspecified pills. A police report disclosed that McCready's brother Timothy found the singer bloody in her bedroom after their mother called him and asked him to check on her. McCready, the report said, had returned home at about 3:30 a.m. intoxicated and later called her mother, who grew very concerned and phoned her son. McCready, 33, was treated in a rehab center in July for a nervous breakdown, three months after revealing that she'd had an affair with baseball player Roger Clemens.
