Nickel Creek guitarist Sean Watkins and Switchfoot singer Jon Foreman
have formed a new duo, Fiction Family. Their self-titled debut album will arrive Jan. 20 on ATO/Credential Records. The musicians
met backstage at a music festival in San Diego and talked about writing together. The band will begin a U.S. tour on Tuesday
(Jan. 13). Nickel Creek won two Grammys during their tenure on roots label Sugar Hill Records.
