Miranda Lambert, Faith Hill, Toby
Keith and Lee Ann Womack are among the artists who achieved gold certification
for music sales during the month of December, the RIAA announced Friday (Jan. 23). Gold certification signifies sales of 500,000
copies of an album, single or ringtone. Lambert's "Gunpowder
& Lead" hit the plateau in both the singles and ringtone categories. The album certifications include Hill's Joy
to the World, Keith's That Don't Make Me a Bad Guy and Womack's Greatest Hits.
