Joe Nichols is currently on tour in Australia for the first time and will spend 10 days in the country. "I've always been told that Australians love country music, and this is a great opportunity for me to present my music in a live setting to the country music fans there," he said. Nichols will perform at a festival called CMC Rocks the Snowys this weekend, along with Taylor Swift, Deana Carter, Old Crow Medicine Show and several Australian country artists. Nichols is expected to release a new single in April, followed by a new album on Universal South Records.
