Trace Adkins Among First Performers Confirmed for CMA Music Festival

Trace Adkins, Julianne Hough, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Reba McEntire are the first artists confirmed to perform at LP Field during the CMA Music Festival this summer. The festival will be held June 11-14 in downtown Nashville. In addition, all daily concerts at Riverfront Park will be free and open to the public, with extended set times for the performers. A second free stage will be located at the Public Square in front of the courthouse. This year the festival will also spotlight local talent by booking non-country artists who live in Nashville, such as the Gabe Dixon Band. In related news, the CMA also announced that ABC will air a three-hour special about the event. In previous years, the ABC specials were two hours long.
