Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles has been placed on a 10-day vocal rest, forcing the duo to
cancel three concerts this week with Keith Urban. According to a message on Sugarland's
Web site, Nettles has been diagnosed with a viral tonsil condition. The duo had been scheduled to perform with Keith Urban
during the launch of his Escape Together World Tour that kicks off Thursday and Friday (May 7-8) in Uncasville, Conn. Jason
Aldean has been added as an opening act for Thursday's show, and Little Big Town
will now open Friday's show. Sugarland has also canceled Saturday's (May 9) show with Urban in State College, Pa., although
a substitute act for that show has not been announced.
