Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser
and Jarrod Niemann performed to a packed house Thursday night (May 28) at the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville during
a fundraiser for the Opry Trust Fund, a charity that helps support those in the country music industry in time of financial
need. Houser performed a set that included his singles, "Anything
Goes" and "Boots On," and Johnson followed with songs from his
gold album, That Lonesome Song. Lee Ann Womack made a special guest appearance
to join Johnson to sing "Help Me Make It Through the Night." Other guest performers throughout the evening included Buddy
Cannon and Country Music Hall of Fame members Mel Tillis and Bill
Anderson. Johnson and Cannon performed "Set 'Em Up Joe," in a tribute to Vern Gosdin,
the singer-songwriter who passed away in April. The night ended with all of the performers returning to the stage for "Will
the Circle Be Unbroken."
