George Jones' "He Stopped Loving Her Today" is among 25 recordings that
will be added to the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry this year. Released in 1980, "He Stopped Loving Her
Today" reached No. 1 on the country charts and won ACM, CMA and Grammy awards. In addition, the Stanley
Brothers' 1960 recording of "Rank Stranger" will join the archive, along with recordings by Marian Anderson, Winston Churchill,
Etta James, the Kingston Trio, Dylan Thomas and the Who.
