Joe Nichols previewed several new songs at his fan club party at the Country
Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Ford Theater on Thursday (June 11). He offered his new single, "Believers," as well as the
up-tempo "Give Me That Girl," the comical "Cheaper Than a Shrink" and the poetic "Goodbye to an Old Friend of Mine." Nichols
also fielded many song requests, including
"It Ain't No Crime,"
"Joe's Place,"
"I'll Wait for You," "Never Gonna Take That
From Me,"
"Let's Get Drunk and Fight"
and
Gene Watson's "Farewell Party." Nichols' new album is expected to be
released later this year.
