Julianne Hough is reportedly close to signing on for a lead role
in the film remake of Footloose. Sources close to Hough have confirmed to E! Online, as well as CMT.com, that
Hough is still in negotiations to star with Chace Crawford in the musical which is expected to be released in June 2010 by
Paramount Pictures. Hough is currently on tour with George Strait. Crawford was recently
named People magazine's hottest bachelor.
