Terri Clark plans to release a new album, The Long Way Home, independently in September.
It's her first album of new material since Life Goes On in 2005. Although two recent singles ("Dirty
Girl" and "In My Next Life") reached the Top 40 at country radio, Clark asked out of her contract with BNA Records. She
previously recorded for Mercury Nashville, where she landed 10 Top 10 hits, including "Better
Things to Do," "You're Easy on the Eyes" and "Girls Lie Too."
