Vince Gill is a guest vocalist on Daughtry's
new album, Leave This Town, released Tuesday (July 14) on RCA Records. Gill sings harmony on a track titled "Tennessee
Line." The band is led by Chris Daughtry, a former American Idol finalist. Daughtry told the PopEater blog that the
album has a "bit of country flavor" and that he considers Gill "one of the greatest country vocalists out there." Gill's next
performance takes place Saturday (July 18) in Chicago as a special guest at Rascal Flatts'
concert at Wrigley Field.
