Chris Young performed five songs from his upcoming album for members of the music industry
on Tuesday night (Aug. 4) in the Sony Music Nashville building. His album, The Man I Want to Be, is slated for release
on Sept. 1. In addition to telling stories about the songs, Young sang acoustic versions of "That Makes Me," "The Man I Want
to Be" and "Voices," along with new single, "Gettin' You Home," and a cover version of Tony
Joe White's "Rainy Night in Georgia." Young won the Nashville Star talent competition in 2006.
