Douglas, and Irma Thomas will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rounder Records by filming a PBS special in Nashville
on Oct. 12. The taping will take place at the Grand Ole Opry House. The special is scheduled to air in 2010. Actress-singer
Minnie Driver will serve as the musical host. More special guests will be announced at a later date. Tickets go on sale on
Aug. 28. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the NARAS Grammy in the Schools programs. A leading independent label, Rounder
Records was founded in Cambridge, Mass., in 1970 by Ken Irwin, Marian Leighton Levy and Bill Nowlin.
