Rosanne Cash will preview her album, The List, with an invitation-only concert
on Sept. 15 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. The event is co-hosted by the Museum and BMI. Due on
Oct. 6 on Manhattan Records, The List includes her renditions of songs from a list of essential country songs given
to her in 1973 by her father, Johnny Cash. "I could not think of a more perfect union
of entities to launch The List than myself, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which is the repository and
protector of so many important treasures and artifacts of my family, and BMI, my performing-rights organization for the past
35 years, which comprises my entire life as a songwriter," Cash said. "The songs on The List are the very songs that
BMI and the Museum exist to honor, share, archive and perpetuate. I am thrilled to premiere The List with the family-like
support of both organizations in a city where these songs have never faded in relevancy."
