CMA Award Nominations Will Be Announced Wednesday Morning

The final nominees for the 2009 CMA Awards will be announced Wednesday morning (Sept. 9) in New York and Nashville. In New York, Darius Rucker and Lee Ann Womack will reveal the nominees in select categories on ABC's Good Morning America during the program's segment airing at 8:30 a.m. ET. Singer-songwriter Randy Houser will join CMT personalities Cody Alan and Alecia Davis at CMT's studios in Nashville to announce the remaining finalists during Insider Special Edition: 2009 CMA Awards Nominations premiering at 10 a.m. ET. The special will re-air on CMT at 10:30 a.m. ET, and the announcements will be streamed in their entirety on CMT.com later Wednesday morning. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the 43rd annual CMA Awards at Nashville's Sommet Center on Nov. 11. The awards show will be telecast on ABC.
