Trace Adkins will help rebuild the home of a wounded police officer on
a new episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to air Oct. 18 on ABC. Adkins and a team of volunteers traveled to
Lancaster, Texas, to assist Carlton Marshall, who lost most of his mobility and all of his hearing after being shot in the
neck while leading a Dallas Police Department SWAT team while serving a narcotics search warrant. The build will enable Marshall
and his wife to continue their own volunteer work involving horseback riding therapy for children and adults with mental and
physical challenges.
