Family, friends and fans of the Keith Whitley will gather Saturday (Oct. 10) in Nashville
to pay tribute to the late singer. The event at the Nashville Palace will feature performances by Ralph Stanley II, Mark Newton,
Randy Kohrs, Don Rigsby, Ken Mellons, Kevin Denney and others. The evening will also include appearances by bassist Randy
Hayes, who played in Whitley's band for nine years, and the singer's son, Jesse Whitley. Keith Whitley died in 1989.
