American Idol finalist Danny Gokey debuted his new single, "It's Only," during a surprise call to his hometown country
radio station, WMIL-FM in Milwaukee, on Friday (Nov. 6). Written by Tom Douglas and Lady
Antebellum's Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, the track was produced by Mark Bright, whose credits include projects with
Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts. The inspirational
ballad will officially be shipped to country radio later this month. A digital single will be released on Dec. 15, followed
by a full album in early 2010. Gokey placed third during American Idol's eighth season.
