Neil Young Will Be Honored by Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones
Neil Young will be honored as the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year on Jan.
29 at a gala ceremony in Los Angeles. A tribute concert will feature Sheryl
Crow, Emmylou Harris and Norah Jones, as well as John
Mellencamp, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, k.d.
lang, Dave Matthews, Wilco, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Everest, Josh Groban, Ozomatli and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Proceeds
from the event will benefit MusiCares, a charitable organization sponsored by the Recording Academy that offers emergency
financial assistance and addiction recovery programs to members of the music community.
