Billy Currington has created a relief fund named Global South Relief Foundation to
deliver supplies to Central American countries. Currington will host a concert with co-writers Dallas Davidson, Scotty Emerick
and Brett Jones at Sloppy Joe's in Key West, Fla., on Saturday (Dec. 5) to raise awareness for the fund. Following the concert,
the musicians will deliver goods to Costa Rica and Guatemala. "I've been so inspired by the people of these countries," Currington
said. "They survive on very little, and it serves as a reminder that I am very blessed and can provide assistance. The goal
is to make this an annual trip and to reach as many countries as we can in the future to provide these people with some relief."
The Global South Relief Foundation is in development and will soon be able to accept donations.
