Jason Aldean's third album, Wide Open, has been certified platinum
for shipments of 1 million copies. Released in April, the album features "She's
Country," "Big Green Tractor" and "The
Truth." Aldean's live DVD, Wide Open Live & More, has also been certified gold for shipments of 50,000 units.
"Getting my first platinum album back in 2006 was one of the proudest moments in my career so far. Put this one at the top
of that list too," Aldean said. "2009 was a really special year for me, and I have so much to be thankful for going into
the holidays."
