A record label owned by Toby Keith has merged with Universal South Records for a new partnership,
Show Dog-Universal Music. Keith will serve as principle of the new label and producer Mark Wright as president. No roster
for the combined label was available at press time. However, Universal South's roster has recently included Joe
Nichols, Phil Vassar, Randy Houser and Eli
Young Band, while Show Dog Records offered Keith, Trailer Choir, Carter's
Chord and Mica Roberts. Keith founded Show Dog Records in 2005. Universal South was launched in 2002.
