Vince Gill to Produce LeAnn Rimes' Next Album
Although it has not yet been announced officially, sources confirm to CMT.com that Vince
Gill will produce LeAnn Rimes' next album. The project will be a collection
of country love songs that were initially hits for male artists. Recording will begin in February, and no release date has
been set. Rimes' most recent album, Family, was produced by Dann Huff. Gill has produced or co-produced albums for
Amy Grant, Sonya Isaacs and the
Notorious Cherry Bombs. Vince Gill -- Love Songs, a 14-track compilation, was released Tuesday (Jan. 26) by MCA
Records. The collection includes hit singles and album cuts from Gill's CDs dating back to his 1991 album, Pocket Full
of Gold.
