George Strait has postponed two weekend tour dates because of winter weather concerns. Strait, along with opening acts Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack, was originally scheduled to perform in Knoxville, Tenn., on Friday (Jan. 28) and Charlottesville, Va., on Saturday (Jan. 29). With heavy snow and ice predicted for the area, those dates have been rescheduled for April 2 in Knoxville and April 3 in Charlottesville. "Due to our concern for the safety of our fans and crew, we are rescheduling shows this weekend," Strait said. "We regret the change, but it's best to take all the necessary precautions."
