Diamond Rio earned three Dove Award nominations on Thursday (Feb. 18) in the categories
of song of the year ("God Is There"), country song of the year ("The Reason") and country album of the year (The Reason).
Other nominees in various Dove categories included Dailey & Vincent, Patty
Loveless, Ronnie Milsap, Collin Raye, Ricky
Skaggs and Rhonda Vincent. The awards will be presented on April 21 at the Grand
Ole Opry House in Nashville.
