David Ball Schedules New Album, Sparkle City, for April 20
David Ball will release a new album, Sparkle City, on April
20 on Red Dirt E1 Records. It will be his first new album of original material in six years. He co-produced the album with
his band, the Pioneer Playboys, after refining the songs over a year-and-a-half by playing clubs, theaters and festivals.
He will celebrate the release of the new album with a free show at Nashville's 12th & Porter on April 20. His hits include
"Thinkin' Problem," "When the Thought of You Catches Up With Me" and "Riding With Private Malone." Lyle
Lovett also recorded one of Ball's early compositions, "Don't You Think I Feel It Too," for his Natural Forces
album released last year.
