Laura Bell Bundy will release a new album, Achin' and Shakin',
on Mercury Nashville on April 13. Her first video, "Giddy On Up,"
has been streamed nearly a million times in one month and has sold more than 30,000 digital singles. A native of Lexington,
Ky., Bundy is a Tony Award-nominated performer whose Broadway credits include Hairspray, Wicked and Legally
Blonde: The Musical. She released an album, Longing for a Place Already Gone, on an independent label in 2007.
