EMI Music's country division, Capitol Nashville, is forming a sister label to be called EMI Records Nashville, company officials
announced Monday (March 15). The first signing to the new label is singer-songwriter Troy Olsen, an Arizona native whose songs
have been recorded by Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton,
among others. The EMI Records Nashville staff will report to Capitol Nashville president and CEO Mike Dungan. Capitol Nashville's
roster includes Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric
Church, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town,
Darius Rucker, Keith Urban and Emily
West.
