Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Begins Updating Core Exhibition
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has begun updating its core exhibit, Sing Me Back Home: A Journey Through Country
Music. The second floor of the exhibit has been redecorated with vibrant, oversized portraits of country music's famous
duet partners -- Loretta Lynn and Conway
Twitty, Tammy Wynette and George
Jones, and Dolly Parton and Porter
Wagoner. Other items newly on display include Parton's handwritten lyrics to "Jolene,"
the acoustic guitar used by Tom T. Hall to write "Harper Valley P.T.A."
and Dottie West's glamorous stage costume designed by Bob Mackie. Other
items from Ronnie Milsap, Johnny
Paycheck, Kenny Rogers, Mel
Tillis and Tanya Tucker are also now on display. Updates will
continue through May.
