Carrie Underwood will appear on the "Idol Gives Back" episode of American Idol
on April 21. Jeff Beck, Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and Annie Lennox will also take part in the episode, with additional
performers to be announced at a later date. Viewers will be able to make donations to a variety of domestic and international
organizations during the episode. To date, the annual charity-themed episodes have raised more than $140 million. Underwood
captured the American Idol crown in 2005.
