Mark Chesnutt has recorded a new album in Los Angeles with producer Pete
Anderson, best known for his work with Dwight Yoakam. Chesnutt will release
the album, Outlaw, on June 22 on the Saguaro Road label. The project includes covers by his favorite country artists,
such as Waylon Jennings, Kris
Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Billy
Joe Shaver. A native of Beaumont, Texas, Chesnutt earned 20 Top 10 country singles in the 1990s. His eight No. 1 hits
include "Brother Jukebox," "It's a
Little Too Late" and "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing."
