Matt Kennon and Kris Kristofferson are among the country artists releasing new albums on Tuesday (May 11). Kennon's self-titled debut album (BamaJam Records) includes the Top 40 country hit, "The Call." Kristofferson's Please Don't Tell Me How the Story Ends: The Publishing Demos 1968-1972 (Light in the Attic) gathers early recordings of his original material. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Kristofferson has several shows scheduled in California in June, followed by European dates in July and August. Other new releases include Elizabeth Cook's Welder (Thirty Tigers), Jim Lauderdale's Patchwork River (Thirty Tigers) and Troy Olsen's self-titled digital EP (EMI).
