Reba McEntire will christen the newest Norwegian cruise ship, the 4,400-passenger Norwegian Epic, during an on-board ceremony on July 2 in New York City. McEntire recently returned from a Mediterranean cruise aboard the Norwegian Gem, where she met Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Kevin Sheehan. In addition to her christening duties, McEntire will be considered the godmother of the Epic. The ship will be more than 60 percent larger than any other Norwegian cruise ship at sea and will feature entertainment such as Blue Man Group, Cirque Dreams and Dinner, Legends in Concert, the Second City, Howl at the Moon and Nickelodeon at Sea.
