2010 CMT Music
Awards show to be telecast live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on June 9.
Kid
Rock, previously announced to host the show, will also perform. Other performers include
Toby
Keith,
Lady Antebellum,
Miranda Lambert,
Carrie Underwood and
Keith Urban. The fan-voted
awards show will air live on CMT and
CMT.com. CMT will use the 2010 CMT Music Awards as a platform for CMT One Country's
efforts to assist in flood relief efforts in Tennessee. By working with CMT One Country partners Hands on Nashville and the
Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and the show sponsor, Rhapsody, CMT hopes the
awards show will help the charities in serving families who have been impacted by the recent flooding.
