Alan Jackson's home near Franklin, Tenn., has sold for $28 million, according to Williamson
county property records dated on Friday (May 28), The Tennessean newspaper reports. The 135-acre property originally
listed for $38 million and had been on the market for 11 months. Willis J. Johnson and Reba J. Johnson, trustees of Willis
J. and Reba J. Johnson Revocable Trust, are the buyers of record. The home encompasses more than 17,000 square feet of living
space with six bedrooms, a 20-car garage and a private lake and boat house. It is the most expensive home sale in the Nashville
area since 1997 and the most expensive home purchase since Tanya Tucker's Williamson
County property sold for $11.4 million in 2007, according to the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors.
