held her annual fan club party Friday morning (June 11) at Nashville's
Blackbird Studios where she gave her fans the chance to perform and record their own song demo. Fans were divided into groups
to either perform McBride's current single,
"Wrong Baby Wrong,"
or choose from
"This One's for the Girls," or
"Independence Day," and then given an exclusive recording
of their work immediately following the session. Although McBride did not perform, she met with fans before and after their
studio performance to sign autographs and take photos with them. McBride is scheduled to perform at LP Field during the
CMA Music Festival Saturday (June 12) alongside artists
Randy
Houser,
Easton Corbin,
Billy Currington,
Zac Brown Band and
Rascal Flatts.
On Sunday (June 13), she will host her annual celebrity auction that raises money for YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
