Buddy Miller has been named the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Artist-in-Residence
for 2010. He will perform with many of his favorite collaborators on Aug. 10, 17 and 24 at 7 p.m. The concerts will mark the
official reopening of the museum's Ford Theater, which was damaged by the flood that struck Nashville in May. Miller's compositions
have been recorded by Dierks Bentley, Brooks &
Dunn, the Dixie Chicks, Emmylou Harris, Lee Ann Womack and many others. His production credits include albums by Solomon Burke,
Patty Griffin, Allison Moorer
and Robert Plant. Miller was named artist of the decade for the 2000s
by No Depression magazine.
