Elvis Presley concert footage from a 1972 documentary will be remastered for theatrical
release on July 29. Titled Elvis on Tour: 75th Anniversary Celebration, the film offers interviews and concert footage
from Elvis on Tour, Presley's final film before his death in 1977. Presley would have turned 75 on Jan. 8, 2010. Some
of the footage, captured across a 15-city U.S. tour, has never been released. In related news, the negatives of three never-before-seen
photos were recently discovered in an unmarked envelope among the business files of Presley's father, Vernon. Along with a
fourth photo that had been printed on a limited basis, the images feature Presley greeting fans at the gates of Graceland
in 1957. The photos will be part of an exhibit at Graceland in Memphis from Aug. 10-16 during Elvis Week. The new documentary
will also be screened during the annual event. Presley was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1998.
