Jerrod Niemann, the singer of "Lover,
Lover," released his debut album, Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury, on Tuesday (July 13) on Arista Nashville/Sea
Gayle Records. Co-produced by Niemann and Dave Brainerd, the album offers a mix of music and comedy skits. Other new releases
include Gary Bennett's You Are Never Nice to Me (EP, Raucous Records), Tim O'Brien's
Chicken & Egg (Howdy Skies) and the self-titled debut album by Red Horse, a collaboration between folk singers
Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka and Lucy Kaplansky, on the Red House label. In addition, the new Setlist series by Legacy
Records has released live compilations by Alabama, Johnny
Cash and Willie Nelson, as well as numerous classic rock artists.
