artists paying tribute to record executive-producer Fred Foster, Kris Kristofferson
and Willie Nelson at the Leadership Music Dale Franklin Music Award gala dinner on Aug.
29. Rodney Crowell, Lyle Lovett and Billy Swan
("I Can Help") will also participate in the event. According to press material, Foster, Kristofferson and Nelson will be recognized
for helping to "define -- and redefine -- the Music Row business model, elevate the Nashville songwriting medium and push
the boundaries of country music, all while maintaining maverick authenticity." The gala dinner will take place at the Renaissance
Hotel in downtown Nashville.
