Jason Aldean
Jason Aldean has scheduled his new album,
My Kinda Party, for a
Nov. 2 release on Broken Bow Records. The first single from the album is the title track. Produced by Michael Knox, the 15-song
album also includes a duet with
Kelly Clarkson called "Don't You Wanna
Stay" and a Southern rap song, "Dirt Road Anthem." Aldean recorded the project with his touring band. "The album is named
My Kinda Party because it's totally representative of what I like and what my fans have come to expect on my records
and at the 'party' we throw at our shows," Aldean says. "I think the key is knowing who you are as an artist and taking it
to an extreme without ripping anybody else off. It's all about knowing what it is that sets you apart." Aldean will reveal
the
My Kinda Party album cover on Tuesday (Aug. 24) on his Facebook page.
